How it works

  1. 1. Take the huddle
You get a real endgame situation: the score, the clock, field position and your timeouts.
  2. 2. Call every snap
Run, pass, take a deep shot, spike it, kick it — you manage the drive the way a head coach has to.
  3. 3. Get graded
Every call is judged by win probability, from Best call to A big miss. Share your card and run it back.

Frequently asked questions

What is the two minute drill game?

It's a daily football strategy game. You take over a real NFL game in its final minutes — trailing, clock running — and call every play: runs, passes, clock management, fourth-down decisions. Every call is graded against win probability, and everyone gets the same scenario each day.

Is this game free?

Yes. The daily two minute drill game and unlimited practice mode are both completely free, with no account required.

How are my play calls graded?

Each option is evaluated by how it moves your win probability in that exact situation — score, clock, field position, down and distance, and timeouts. You get a grade from Best call to A big miss, so you can learn whether the decision itself was right, separate from how the play turned out.

Where does the game data come from?

Game situations are built from public NFL play-by-play data provided by the nflverse project (CC BY-SA 4.0). This site is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with the NFL or nfl2mindrill.com.

Can I play more than one scenario a day?

Yes — the daily challenge is one scenario for everyone, but unlimited practice mode lets you replay and drill as many endgame situations as you want.
